In Transit

We made it to Washington DC and are on our way to Addis in Ethiopia. We only have 55 minutes between flights so we may be staying there for 24 hours before the next flight. Thank you for your prayers!

Getting Ready!

We leave tomorrow, so we have been nonstop packing yesterday and today, and hope to finish tomorrow (well, I guess we WILL finish tomorrow)!  Ethiopian air is a little sketchy, but I had an hour conversation today with Delta and got the flights all straightened out because the leg from Washington DC to Addis was missing! We had a mouse visit our packing downstairs, so had to throw out the food and buy new, then we set up the packing area upstairs! We're learning to be flexible already.  Today is Mike & My 25th Anniversary, but we will wait to celebrate until I get back because Mike has been working long hours due to the massive amounts of snow & the expected storm on Thurs.  We leave tomorrow and are very excited!
